About the Event

Virtual Sarikei Webinar Series (VSWS) allows Sarikeians to be connected virtually while adapting to the new normal during this COVID-19 time.

We would like to encourage entrepreneurs and Agriculture Enthusiasts of Sarikei to join us for an informal dialogue session that allow us to hear the stories behind two local Sarikeian entrepreneurs about how they diversify or digitize their businesses, helping other local farmers, and challenges they faced over the years.

This virtual coffee webinar will be moderated by Malcolm Wu - SMA | Sarikei Innovation Center and joining us are Tony Ling - Owner of Tony Orchard Enterprise and Ling Moh Hau - Owner of Soon Tak Trading.

<aside> 💡 This is a platform to showcase Entrepreneurs from Sarikei Division (Sarikei, Julau, Pakan, Meradong). If you have any entrepreneur friends from different industries that you want them to be showcased on VSWS, do let us know by sending their details to us via email [email protected] .

About Tony Orchard Enterprise

Tony Orchard is a local fruit tree seedlings supplier and they have diversified their business to be a specialized kelulut honey producer since 2014. They started everything from breeding kelulut (stingless) bees to harvesting the honey then package the honey and sell to consumers. Besides just selling honey, they did some experiment with other products made from the honey they produced. Just to name a few are "stingless bee honey coffee", "chocolate", "keropok kelulut honey", and "soap".

From a 30 logs (year 2014) to now 300 logs of kelulut bees that produces an average of 50kg - 100kg of honey per month, Tony Orchard have achieved a great milestone as a Sarikeian Agriculture Entrepreneur.

What is Virtual Coffee?

It is an informal dialogue / networking session that is hosted online instead of in-person. Fun fact, we want you to have a cup of coffee (or it can be your favourite drink) with you during this session.
